Quite a few things usually go into making a laser cutter for sheet metal: the control system, motion system, bed, cutting head, and laser source. When all of these parts are combined correctly it can cut sheets so accurately and quickly.
To automate the process of perforating and cutting plates with diverse thicknesses, our software modifies the focus lens on its own. It is faster by ten times in terms of how fast it adjusts the focus lens than what humans do manually. Our system can work on plates of 0-20mm because it has a range from -10 mm to +10 mm and an accuracy level that measures up to 0.01mm which is perfect for this size range. Heat sinks with water cooling systems have been fitted onto both the collimator lens as well as the focal point; these measures are aimed at increasing durability for cutting heads used during laser beams heat application processes on different materials such as metals or non-metals plates.
To prevent cutting line deformation because of Y axis screw bending, we have added double rail guides and a dual ball drive screw design to both sides of the Y axis. This configuration guarantees linearity and accuracy during high-speed cutting processes.
The 1390 fiber laser cutting machine has a Japanese Panasonic servo motor. It uses imported TBI dual driver grinding ball screw for Y axis, imported TBI grinding ball screw for X axis and Hiwin guide rail. The accuracy of repeat positioning of the machine tool can be 0.02mm while its cutting acceleration is 0.5G. Furthermore, it works more than ten years.
